Ryan Seacrest just lives for moments like these, doesn't he?
After encountering American Idol alums and live-in loves Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo in the audience at tonight's finale, he asked the adorable pair onstage.
"This has always been home to us and I felt this was the perfect place to ask a simple question," Ace said.
And what could that be, hmmm?

"We have conquered Broadway together, we have created new music together, we have an amazing group of people around us and, with the help of David Webb jewelry, I have a way to make this fun last forever. You ready?" Ace inquired getting the product-placement part of the proposal out of the way.
"I love you to death, you're my best friend," he continued. "I want to make this last forever and I would do anything in my power to have the most imaginable and amazing life together, if you will have me.
 "Diana Nicole DeGarmo, will you marry me?"
Aw, she said yes! Ace then shared a big, long kiss with his fiancée as the audience went wild.
Ryan held the box as Ace, hands shaking, slipped the ring on Diana's finger.
"I'm so speechless right now!" the bride-to-be exclaimed. "And my makeup's runnin' right now."
"Mine too," Ryan agreed.
