Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Are Not Speaking: Sources - The Daily Blabber from iVillage

The tension seems to be mounting between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

Just days after Stewart issued a public apology for cheating on Pattinson -- her boyfriend of three years -- the two stars are not speaking to each other, People reports.

This is just one in a string of rapidly unfolding events since the 22-year-old actress was photographed on July 17 kissing Rupert Sanders, the 41-year-old married father of two who directed the actress in this summer’s Snow White and the Huntsman. (Sanders also issued a statement shortly after the scandal was reported.) In the wake of the affair, Pattinson, 26, has also reportedly left the Los Angeles home he shared with Stewart.

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob," Stewart said in a statement on Wednesday about her actions. "I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

Will Pattinson come around? According to PerezHilton.com, the actor was “horrified” by Stewart’s public apology. 

But the Twilight stars can only avoid each other for so long: Stewart and Pattinson are slated to co-present at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 9. Until that inevitably awkward moment arrives (if it does at all), Pattinson will be busy with promotion for his upcoming film Cosmopolis, which hits theaters on Aug. 17.
