It won't happen until 2013. But Lady Gaga is coming back to the United States, and she's making a stop at the Jersey Shore.

The Born This Way Ball brought Gaga around the world in 2012. The racy show prompted protests in the Philippines, barbs in Bangkok, and rueful meditation in Melbourne, but sold out arenas wherever it went. Gaga's relentless touring schedule will take her to Southern Europe in October, Central and South America in November, and Moscow in December. After that, she's bound to want to slow down and catch her breath, right?

No chance. According to Gaga's own Twitter account, the Born This Way Ball American swing begins promptly in mid-January with a show in Vancouver. From there, it'll be 25 more shows on the North American continent, including stops at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 22, Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Mar. 2, and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Mar. 6. No ticket information is yet available for these concerts, but thousands of Little Monsters have already circled the dates.

Fans will remember that the tireless Gaga toured the Monster Ball, her last concert show, for a year and a half. The Monster Ball brought Lady Gaga to New York City for four dates at Radio City Music Hall, five at Madison Square Garden, two at Boardwalk Hall, and one at the Prudential Center. So if you can't get tickets to the three Born This Way Ball dates announced, chances are, you'll have another opportunity.

The Born This Way Ball is heavy on material from Gaga's latest album. In the show, she performs every song from "Born This Way," including hits "Judas," "Marry the Night," "Edge of Glory," "You and I," and the chart-topping title track. She pairs these with elaborate sets, wild costumes, pyrotechnics and an arsenal of fake weaponry. The show has been met with positive reviews from critics and condemnation from cultural conservatives. Massive religious protests forced Lady Gaga to cancel a June concert in Jakarta.
