Tattle: Did Chris Brown get a tattoo of a battered Rihanna? - Philadelphia Daily News

COULD CHRIS BROWN really be as terrible a person as we all imagine him to be? Very possibly!

A recent photo of Brown features the R&B singer's new neck tattoo. Ill-advised tattoos are par for the course when it comes to bad-boy pop stars, but this neck tat looks suspiciously like Rihanna. Not only does the offending ink resemble his ex-paramour, it seems to be the notorious picture of Rihanna taken shortly after Brown beat her.

Sources close to Brown are denying it's Rihanna, saying it's a random woman. His rep says it's a take on a sugar skull or an homage to the Mexican holiday the Day of the Dead. Others are pointing out the similarities between Rihanna's bruises and cuts and the seemingly floral pattern on the tattoo. Side-by-side comparison of the tat and Rihanna's face show that the image and the "Umbrella" singer have the same- shape eyes and mouth.

It speaks volumes that we're even considering that Brown could be so heinous as to have gotten the visage of the ex-girlfriend he beat bloody emblazoned forever for all the public to see.

The King collapses

Former wrestler and current commentator Jerry "The King" Lawler collapsed on camera during a live broadcast of WWE's "Monday Night Raw" in Montreal because of a severe heart attack.

"This is not part of tonight's entertainment. This is a real-life situation," said co-host Michael Cole after Lawler collapsed, making it one of the few times pro wrestling has explicitly acknowledged its fakery.

Lawler's vitals were stable, but he remained in critical condition.

Casual wrestling fans know Lawler as the man who fought comedian Andy Kaufman on "Late Night with David Letterman," a bout that Lawler later claimed was a hoax.

Kardashian kerfuffle

At 8:46 a.m. Tuesday, many television networks decided to break from programming for a moment of silence to honor the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center.

NBC was not among them.

Rather than cut to President Obama and wife Michelle with their heads bowed on the White House lawn, the "Today" show decided to stick with an interview of odious mom Kris Kardashian.

Worst of all? The topic of conversation was her recent boob job.

"The 'Today' show dedicated a considerable amount of time to Sept. 11th coverage this morning throughout the entire show," spokeswoman Megan Kopf told Politico.

The Belting Beat

* Speaking of Kardashians, Simon Cowell confirmed on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that Khloe Kardashian was his pick to host "The X Factor." Sources close to the show say it's up to the Fox network to sign off on Cowell's choice.

* That loud sigh of relief you recently heard emanated from Randy Jackson. It was reported earlier that the longtime "American Idol" judge would be relegated to "mentor" status on the 12th season of the once-almighty ratings juggernaut, but judges' table drama will continue with Jackson saying, "That was just a'ight, dog" for one more year.

After a recent offer to Enrique Iglesias fell through, producers decided to stick with the familiar. The proposed new judges' table will now include Jackson, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and

Keith Urban.

Baby time

* "True Blood" stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have welcomed twins into the world. "The babies were born a few weeks early but are in good health, and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed," their rep told People magazine. Congrats to the bloodthirsty couple, but Lady Tattle suggests they hold off from introducing their kids to "True Blood" for a very long time.

* Tuesday, we told you that Blake Lively tied the knot with boy toy of one year Ryan Reynolds. The couple have been all hush-hush about their relationship, but in the new issue of Allure, Lively looks to the future with her new hubby.

"I've always wanted a big family," Lively told the lady mag before her nuptials. "Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could."

Step aside, Octomom!
