'Today' crew performs 'Gangnam Style' with PSY - Los Angeles Times

South Korean rapper and the international sensation du jour PSY continued his sweep through American media on Friday morning with a stop at the "Today" show. And though producers got the singer to perform his hit, "Gangnam Style," for the assembled crowd, they got a special bonus when the "Today" crew, including Savannah Guthrie, David Gregory, Natalie Morales and Al Roker joined him for some dance moves. Maybe Ann Curry got out at the right time.

PSY appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards and on "Ellen" last week, where he showed fellow guest Britney Spears how to do his distinctive dance. His song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 this week at No. 64 and his video has been viewed over 167 million times on YouTube. So he's on quite a roll.

"I just uploaded this video only for the Korean viewers," PSY told Guthrie before his performance. "And within 60 days, I'm here," meaning in New York and on "Today."

While it's nothing new for Roker to act a little goofy (he's had quite a run of odd on-air incidents lately), it is striking to see the normally staid Gregory, host of NBC's "Meet the Press," doing the invisible horse dance.

This is one video that'll be sure to be played at the "Today" holiday party.
