'True Blood' stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer welcome twins: Favorite People - OregonLive.com

It's true joy: Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are the proud parents of newborn twins.

Reps for the acting couple confirm Paquin gave birth to the babies a few weeks early but say they're in good health and their parents "are overjoyed." The statement issued Tuesday didn't specify when or where the babies were born or the sex of the children.

The babies are 30-year-old Paquin's first children. Moyer, 42, has two children from previous relationships.

The "True Blood" stars were married in 2010. The show is in its fifth season on HBO.

Randy Jackson wins a reprieve on "American Idol"

This dawg refuses to be put down.

After reports circulated that Randy Jackson was booted from the “American Idol” judging panel (and given a mentorship role), it appears the producers have kept the casting drama coming. Now the word is that Enrique Iglesias won’t fill a seat after negotiations fizzled, TMZ reports.

With the clock ticking for producers, they are close to signing Jackson as a judge and giving up on the mentoring idea, which he apparently wasn’t too pleased with anyway.

As for the other seats, Mariah Carey is signed and deals are said to be nearly complete for Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban.

Keep it mum: James Franco wants to make film about Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan â€" last seen denying involvement in the sordid (and alleged) Tom Cruise wife auditions â€" has fashioned a new role for herself: cinematic muse.

It appears Renaissance Man James Franco wants to make a film about Lohan's life, Perez Hilton reports. And what else?

He posted a casting call asking for "Lindsay Lohan types and James Franco types," and all he'll say at the Toronto Film Festival is: "That's something I really didn't publicize. We just put out a casting call for a Lindsay Lohan and James Franco type. People just saw the casting call and picked that up and made up a lot of stories about it. It's really a project that's really under the radar for now."

LiLo under the radar? We'll see how that goes.
